Okay. We are really slow on the jump lately. Everyone has probably already read Cope2's blog or Spankystokes.com or Mixcrate.com's review of the opening of our current exhibition, Graphic Attack!. But of course, we need to add our two cents. The show was dope. And that is our two cents. Naw, just playin'. When have we ever been people of a few words? The day of the opening artists Cope2, Pure TFP, Siloette and Queen Andrea blessed the outside walls of 1:AM with their classic east coast style of bubble letters, pieces [...]

Last October, Estria held his "Don't Sweat the Technique: Ode to the Spray Can" exhibition at 1:AM gallery. During that show, we displayed works by CERN, a New York graffiti artist who creates a unique blend of fantasy and realism and blurs the lines between graffiti and fine art. And now his back. And we mean, back in a BIG way. Check out his work for Graphic Attack!: CERN'S BIO: Cern began writing graffiti in the early 90’s. Diverse in his scope, he has created numerous collaborative murals [...]

The most sought after pieces in the Graphic Attack! art collection are Hydro74's prints. We have sold out of both the Pandas already and only have a couple of the Vaders and the Birds. But that's not all he is packing. He is also exhibiting these stunning skull prints on metal and drawings on canvas that are all ornately framed in gold. We also have found out, in the course of the Graphic Attack! exhibition, that Hydro has a huge following. On a weekly basis, graphic designers, from all over the world, [...]
"What does that say?" "That says C-E-S. One of the NY legends that helped graffiti become the art form it is today." Born Robert Michael Provenzano, 1970, NY, CES is a New York City leader of the new Wild Style look in contemporary graffiti. Attention to streamlining and aerodynamics were key to the CES formula for alphabetic reconfiguration. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and the graffiti innovations of CES have been relentlessly knocked off by his peers and have influenced the new generation of graffiti writers in the [...]
Graffiti has always been a male dominated art form. There have been amazing female artists that have penetrated the scene like Swoon, Lady Pink, and Fafi paving the way for the others. Another name to add to that list is one of our exhibiting artist for Graphic Attack!, Siloette. Her passion for the art has led her to paint in cities around the world to working with big companies, like [...]

Leading his generation into a new world of possibility with style writing sculpture, he pioneered a vision that had, before him, no reference outside of the painted subways of the time. After visitors have looked at all the artwork in Graphic Attack!, they always return to the installation by Greg Haberny. They always have to look at it more closely, realizing that they definitely missed something the first time around. GREG’S BIO: Greg Haberny seeks to re-interpret the cultural lifestyles and ideologies that pervade American society today through his art. Installation art is his vehicle to exaggerate the absurdity of the media circus and the violent images which have become status quo and which unchallenged, serve to further inundate our society [...]
